For this project, me and 4 teammates created a fully functional frog VVI pacemaker. The pacemaker is able to sense the frog's electrocardiogram, amplify and filter the signal, determine whether electrical stimulation is necessary based on calculated heart rate, and deliver a shock whenever bradycardia was detected. We designed an analog sensing and stimulation circuit, developed MATLAB code digitize the signal, and programmed a microcontroller for stimulation decision making.
