During a summer internship at The Ohio State University, College of Public Health, I conducted research on the association between race and receipt of guideline-concordant treatment among women diagnosed with endometrial cancer. I analyzed a hospital-based data set of over 60,000 cases using logistic regression and Cox proportional hazards regression models in SAS Studio. I got the opportunity to present my results at an AACR Conference on cancer health disparities in San Francisco on September 21st, 2019 and published a first-author paper in the American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
