Dancing Robot

I created an octopus-inspired dancing robot in collaboration with a fellow student, Debbie Leung. We made the design using SolidWorks, coded the dance moves in Python, visualized the steps in simulation, 3D-printed all the parts, assembled the parts and electronics, and programmed a Raspberry Pi to make our bot dance to Dua Lipa's "Don't Start Now" through remote control. With no previous robotics experience, I was able to gain a ton of new design, manufacturing, and programming skills and completed the entire project in just 4 months.
